Viewing Points
Recommended spectator viewing points for the Jayco Herald Sun Tour Prologue are:
• Start Line – Federation Square
Features: Big Screens, live commentary, Team Marquees, activation zone, Team Presentations, first aid
• Bicycle Beer Bend – Boathouse Drive
Features: Big Screen, Bicycle Beer marquee, food vendors, and toilets. Approx. 300m walk from Federation Square and 500m from Queensbridge Square.
• Finish Line- Queensbridge Square
Features: Main presentation stage, Hot Seat, big screen, VIP area, sponsor activation zone and the Chinese New Year market.
Transport
Located in the heart of Melbourne there are a number of public transport options to get you to the event. To plan your trip use the Public Transport Victoria journey planner – www.ptv.vic.gov.au
Bike racks will also be provided for anyone who does to ride their bike to the event. What better way to come along to an amazing night of cycling than to ride your bike to and from the event!
Road Closures
A road closure will be implemented for the duration of the event:
Location: Boathouse Drive, Melbourne
Date: Wednesday 1st February
Time: 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Details: No access to Boathouse Drive from Alexandra Avenue
